Sergio, All,
We need someone to volunteer help us with our logo. As running a competition , inviting entries, judging, evaluating etc needs lot of time/effort ,my suggestion to make it also simple and modify the logo incorporating all suggestions mentioned or if the volunteer can help us by looking into copyright free or CC images/drawings etc which symbolises "Geo for All" and find a new logo, whichever is easy and better.
The logo should in someway capture our core principles - Openness, Global, Community driven, Non-Profit, Education, Opportunities for all…
Any volunteers for this please?
Suchith

Hi. I think having a logo is an excellent idea; organizing a contest sounds good but is hard work that I'm not sure who would like to take the challenge. Taking a look at the logo Suchith suggested (I liked it) maybe it can be slightly modified in order to satisfied Patrick's suggestions. I think this should be easier than organizing an international contest. My two cents.

Asunto: [Ica-osgeo-labs] "Geo for All" logo
Hi All,
I have been getting lot of queries on if there is a logo for "Geo for All" and i think it is now time for us to have logo. As "Geo for All" started with FOSS4G 2013 Nottingham and i saw we did have a logo but i don't remember who/when it was created other than the info given at the website [Geo for All thx to Julia Freeman-Woolper ] at http://2013.foss4g.org/welcome/index.html
Steven or anyone in the FOSS4G 2013 Team - Do any of you remember this Julia Freeman-Woolper or got her contact? Did she contribute the logo for us? If so, please let me know as i like the logo she created and would like to use this as the "Geo for All" logo in our website etc. from now.
Suchith
