If it's ok for you I can provide a .PNG format for web use in RGB color with transparent background in all the sizes you asked in the email.

I'll provide also an editable PDF file in CMYK vectors for print use

And I can also send you the .AI format and an .EPS one

Finally I'll create the SVG version

As soon as possible I will send you a zip folder

Yes, for OSGeo-Live, we are asking for logos as 125x125 pixels with transparent background, but I suggest that you should provide multiple standard sizes of the logo, including an SVG vector version which can be scaled later.

I can't find a good authoritative source for icon/logo sizes, but this is probably as good as any:

There suggest image sizes of: 16 × 16, 32 × 32, 48 × 48, 128 × 128, 256 × 256, 512 × 512, and 1024 × 1024 pixels

Colleagues, we now have our "Geo for All" logo based on the maximum no. of votes. From the results GEO4All_3 logo is the clear winner with maximum votes. I thank everyone who contributed the logos. In fact, we didnt plan to have a logo competition but thanks to the community who started sending logos we decided to have a competition to find the winning logo. It was also a great opportunity to see the enthusiam of the community and i thank each and everyone who contributed the logos. For me all the logos are winners. I also thank Massimo Di Stefano for setting up the voting system to help us find the most popular logo.

Now the difficult part is that i dont remember (i am getting few grey hair in my head which is God's message to me that i am getting older :)) who send this logo 3! So please let me know.

It is also great timing to announce this logo for "Geo for All" as it encapsulates our  ideas for "Geo for All" for the service for the betterment of humanity and  build synergies with the UN Millennium Development Goals based on initial ideas at http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/ica-osgeo-labs/2015-May/001610.html

Dear Colleagues,

As you all know "Geo for All" http://www.geoforall.org  started from very humble beginnings but the idea expanded rapidly beyond any of our expectations thanks to the amazing support of our academic colleagues worldwide who all joined forces in our  mission for making geospatial education and opportunities accessible to all.

There were specific objectives (both academic and societal) that we all were able to achieve in a very short time thanks to the efforts of our amazing colleagues

* Establish Open Geospatial Science as a discipline (academic journals, journal special issues , conferences proceedings etc)
* Enable Openness in Geospatial Education (University programs, MOOCs , summer schools, training programs etc)
* Establish Open Source Geospatial Labs in universities worldwide to build firm foundations and expand the discipline

So it is now time for us to have a logo which encapsulates our mission, vision and what we all stand for .

So thank you to all colleagues who send some amazing logos for us to choose and to Massimo Di Stefano for setting up the voting system to help us find the most popular logo, before 20th May 2015 .Each each person has  3 votes to use as they choose amongst their top choices, with stronger preferences getting more of their allotment .
