Hi Martin,
If you are ok with it, I suggest that we prime the media (particularly
the media who have already reported this story and the spatial media) by
providing them with advance warning that this story is going to break on
Monday, and provide them with a write up of the story.
If you plan to convert your slides into a blog post, then I suggest
sharing that text. (Providing text gives you a much better chance of
getting what you want written published, as writers tend to cut and
paste from your words).
Otherwise, we can share your slides, along with the summary of the meeting.
I'd like to prep the Australian media on Australian Monday (Sunday in
the US) such that they are ready to publish a polished article the
following day after the Ad Hoc meeting. I suggest you aim to release
your personal blog post at the same time as news agencies release their
story. In news, it is all about timing if you want to get maximum publicity.
Martin, how would you like to approach this? As always I'm happy to
review a draft of your text.
