Dear Darrell, 

Here are my answers to your questions. 

1) What do you see as OSGeo’s purpose today?
-> Promoting FOSS4G spirit world wide. 
 
1a) What is OSGeo doing today that it shouldn’t be doing?
-> Giving too much organising burden to FOSS4G LOC. Eventually much burden to LOC will damage the sustainability of FOSS4G in long term. 

2) What do you see as OSGeo’s purpose in five years?
-> Being FOSS4G catalyst among various players around open source GIS

2a) What should OSGeo be doing in five years that it *isn’t* doing today?
-> Need to develop more formal and stable relationship with outer organisations or players. 

3) How do we get from (1) to (2)?
-> We need to increase the regional, gender, domain, sector diversity inside/around OSGeo to accommodate to a new change. There might be new persons to handle new issues properly and effectively. 

3a) How can you help that?
-> I’ll add my perspective as a businessman from Asia. Also I could play a role in developing relationship with UN based on my experience in organising UN special session at FOSS4G Seoul.
