Hello all,

Due to the overwhelming response to this session, the Point Cloud DWG session has been extended to cover two time slots. This has given us some extra space for a couple of presentations that might have been turned away and it will give us some discussion time to plan for future work.

So the newly formed Point Cloud DWG will have its first official meeting on Tuesday, September 15 @ 13:00. The agenda will be as follows:

• Review the Charter (edits and corrections, additional charter members, etc.)
o Stan Tillman, Intergraph
• Election of chair(s)
o Stan Tillman, Intergraph
• Serving LiDAR thru existing OGC services
o Scott Pakula, Pixia
• Point Cloud Usage in a Railway Context and rules/issues related to extraction and sharing
o Barry Gleeson, RICS
• IQmulus - Cloud Platform for Point Cloud Processing
o Jan Boehm, University College London
• OGC WCS: fomat-independent point cloud services
o Peter Baumann, Jacobs University
• Point Cloud from Photogrammetry
o Jean-Baptiste, Thales
• The ASTM E57 Data Interoperability Standard
o Gene Roe, Lidar News
