Dear all,

Thank you to Nikos and all our editors for their selfless work and contributions in helping make possible these amazing newsletters for the community by the community. When i look back at our newsletters in 2016 [1] and see the amazing breadth and depth of activities globally that all of you have done for Open Education principles, it gives me great inspiration for working hard for our mission and each and every one of you who have been contributing your efforts are our "GeoForAll" Heros.

So big thank you for all of you for your contributions to Open Education and your work and contributions will keep inspiring all of us for the future. The fundamental principle of "GeoForAll" is to enable education opportunities for everyone and Openness in Education (Free and Open software, open standards, open data, open educational resources, open access to research publications) will provide great opportunities for widening quality education opportunities to all.

Wishing you and your families very happy Christmas and New Year 2017 wishes in advance :)

Best wishes,

Suchith
