[OSGeo-Discuss] how did the Paris code sprint go

Too bad, this seems a good opportunity to put our poopprint-footprint into perspective and help stimulate consideration of ways to accomplish our need for interaction, obviously quality virtual participation being the alternative. Not to exclude the benefits of a physical meeting but allow for an expansion of that so players can join up virtually. A chart showing how much poop was prevented might help to encourage more ways to improve our efficiency. I hope I am accurately understanding what is being discussed, never quite sure.

    I'm not averse to the notion, but given the mixed/tepid response to this email thread, it doesn't seem like something the community has any particular desire for.

if you feel OSGeo should have an environmental policy, you could certainly
propose one for consideration by the larger community, and then volunteer to
champion to make it adopted, and enforce it afterwards.
