[OSGeo-Discuss] website/rebranding april update

My feedback:

- The topo background graphic proposed is a strong visual, but comes across
as vintage / retro / dated to my eyes (steampunk!).  It does evolve from
our current branding (see slide 2 here
<https://www.slideshare.net/DirkFrigne/osgeo-think-global-act-local?qid=22fda894-eda8-4161-acca-1be6d1a323ce&v=&b=&from_search=8>),
but I am not sure it reflects modern mapping technologies. Wonder if we
could go for a blueprint vector+note visualization of the data behind
mapping....

- Tempted to use the current light-green as one of the colors for logo3,
because many <https://osgeo.nl> local chapters
<http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Aust-NZ> have taken the color rather than the
visual elements as a base, others look amazing <http://www.gfoss.it> doing
there own thing.
