[OSGeo-Discuss] Help needed on Open weather data

Dear colleagues,

I have a request for help. Rahul Tomar and students from IIIT Jabalpur, India are working on the GODAN-NASA Challenge. Thier project called FarmsNtech aims to help farmers by providing a complete understanding about the weather pattern to maximize the crop yield or lessen the loss they suffer from during adverse conditions.

They have emailed me a query  “We need open data of weather of India for the last 10 years. Do you happen to know any API for this? “

Can anyone help me  if they know sources of open weather data APIs for India. Please let me know, so I can inform them. Thanks.
