Dear colleagues,

It is over a decade now since we started working on the philosophy of Openness in Geospatial Science and Education. The pace of change in the GIS in the last decade towards Openness has been beyond even my expectations.

May i request all who are taking part in various Geo events (Geography Awareness Week, OSM Geo Week, GIS day etc ) to make use of the opportunity to promote Open Principles in GeoEducation by sharing information on GeoForAll and welcoming those interested to be part of Open Principles in Science and Education. Please share the pledge for supporting Open Principles for Science and Education for building a better world for everyone.

The ideas are summarized at https://www.slideshare.net/SuchithAnand/the-future-of-geo-is-open

We welcome everyone to support Open Principles for Science and Education for building a better world for everyone.

The Future of Geo is For Everyone...

Best wishes,

Suchith
