Thanks to Peter for sharing the excellent updates on OSGeo Townhall  on 10th April at this year’s  EGU General Assembly in Vienna (www.egu2018.eu<http://www.egu2018.eu/>)

I want to thank all OSGeo and EGU colleagues for making this session possible. I think it is an excellent opportunity for learning and sharing ideas . Esp. in times of some vendors starting putting trademarks, marketing slogans/tags of products as “the science” ( I am not bothered by all these innovative marketing gimmicks, I just find it funny! :-))  it is good to have free, open and friendly discussions to help broaden our collective ideas and knowledge.


I won’t be able to attend EGU but I would like to send my greetings and best wishes to all colleagues there.
