What a great way to welcome FOSS4G 2018 Global http://2018.foss4g.org<http://2018.foss4g.org/> in Dar es Salaam :-)

The pace of spread of Open ideas in Geo around the world is truly amazing and I thank all our colleagues globally for their help and support for Open Principles in Science and Education. I would like to send my thank you to all colleagues for sharing and building up GeoForAll ideas through all opportunities from Geospatial Technologies for All [1] to Geography for All [2] :-)

Best wishes,

Later this week ( 8th to 9th of March 2018) , OSGeo:UK will be bringing together all those interested in free and open source geospatial software for FOSS4G UK 2018 [1] . I would like to send my thank you to all our amazing volunteer colleagues who are working to make FOSS4G:UK 2018 a great success and spread openness ideas. Though I am unable to attend FOSS4G UK 2018 (prior commitment to CEOS meetings) , I will be there in spirit.

Even the weather is getting better with last few days of snow started clearing to welcome FOSS4G in UK :-)

Best wishes,

Suchith
