Dear colleagues,
Open Science is being adopted by several Research foundations worldwide as core strategy to foster the knowledge diffusion. This represents a new approach to the research and educational processes based on OPEN data, source, methodology, review, access, educational resources. While benefits are widely recognized, it is not always simple to put this approach in practice: resources, strategies and common practices may be an obstacle. In this year symposium the OGRS community want to focus the discussion on this topic to promote, discuss and find pathways to put Open Science in Action. Details at http://2018.ogrs-community.org
If you are attending OGRS 2018 , may I request you to share a short report , blogpost for GeoForAll newsletter. Thanks.
I am also pleased to read summary reports from FOSS4G 2018

It is great to see the momentum building for Open Principles in Science and Education.
Best wishes,
Suchith
