[OSGeo-Discuss] Inspire Helsinki 2019 - Call for teams to solve Data Challenges

 Dear colleagues,

The Inspire Helsinki 2019 <https://www.inspire-helsinki-2019.fi/> event
takes place in Helsinki on 22-24 October 2019. The event strives to look at
how latest technologies and spatial data can improve both decision making
and the daily life of everyone. The goal is to bring 150 developers,
project managers, technical people and influencers of the European spatial
data infrastructure to Helsinki to demonstrate the capacity of latest
technologies and to see what can be achieved with European spatial data now
and in the future. The event hosts data challenges and technical workshops.
The event is organized by the National Land Survey of Finland
<https://www.maanmittauslaitos.fi/en>, the Ministry of Agriculture and
Forestry <https://mmm.fi/en/frontpage> and supported by the Joint Research
Centre of the European Commission <https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en>.

Teams that are interested in solving the Data Challenges
<https://challenge.inspire-helsinki-2019.fi/> of the event should sign up
<https://challenge.inspire-helsinki-2019.fi/signup.html> by August 16. The
first 10 teams to sign up are eligible for one (1) 100% discount code per
team for the event in Helsinki (save up to 350€). The data challenges will
be solved by in September and the best results will be presented at the
event in October. Great prizes

for the winning teams, such as a free entry to the INSPIRE Conference 2020
<https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/conference2020> in Dubrovnik!

seats available.
