Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to participate in the inaugural GEO Indigenous Summit. This is a milestone event that will bring together all those involved and interested in Indigenous-driven EO digital transformation. The summit will take place entirely online 7-9 December 2020
The event is open to everyone, everywhere and no registration is required.
We encourage you to submit an abstract for the Lightning Talk session by November 25th.
The objectives of the summit are to:
* Explore the latest Indigenous EO-based applications
* Inspire Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, educators and entrepreneurs to engage with EO technologies and data
* Foster new collaborations across disciplines and cultures
* Receive a short update on the activities of the GEO Indigenous Alliance
The main themes that will be covered are: COVID-19, women empowerment, education, Indigenous data sovereignty, knowledge transfer, climate action, food security and disaster risk reduction.
