[OSGeo-Discuss] Submit an abstract to host a session at the upcoming Open-Earth-Monitor Global Workshop 2024 if interested

After a successful Open-Earth-Monitor Workshop in 2023<https://earthmonitor.org/gw2023/>, the Open-Earth-Monitor project is pleased to invite you to the Global Workshop 2024<https://earthmonitor.org/global-workshop-2024/>, at Laxenburg, Austria, co-organized by the International Institute for Applied System Analysis (IIASA<https://iiasa.ac.at/>) and the Open Geo Hub foundation<https://opengeohub.org/>.


This year, the conference is titled 'From EO data to policy impact: open EO data in support of environmental, biodiversity and climate policies', and during each of the days we will have specific emphasis on the following topics:

  *   Forest and Biodiversity,
  *   Soil, Water and Agriculture, and
  *   Climate and Health;


The hybrid conference will take place from October 2nd to 4th  2024 and will host a variety of sessions, from keynote presentations to oral talks, workshops, and poster presentations. In case you are interested in hosting one of these presentations, please submit your abstract by March 15th using the following form https://t.co/h0KTM0HV10.



This international event will connect project partners, including data and environmental researchers, public and private sector developers, EU decision- and policymakers, representatives from global institutions, the business sector and civil society to discuss and test solutions to the greatest challenges in geospatial applications.
