[OSGeo-Discuss] New wave of participatory mapping from Tuscany / Italy + 4th Farma Valley Winter Fest + uni*rural*

Dear all - .

a) I am very glad to announce that at the end of November with the pibinko.org
network

will be starting a new participatory mapping project, in collaboration with
the public library in Paderno Dugnano, in the northern suburbs of Milan,
Italy.

This initiative falls in place with the final preparations for our fourth
Farma Valley Winter Fest (2 hours south of Florence), and will be embeddd
in our uni*rural* line of work.
This is a non-formal master course to reconnect city dwellers and rural
communities following our own experience since 2007, from December 2025 to
June 2026....it's as if there were a "perfect storm" coming, but with a
positive vibe.

train other folks, within the uni*rural* framework)

or to propose a collaboration (we are currently a bit undersized in terms
of developers, and may have opportunities to share at different levels
(from college-student or PhD level work, to potential contracts in projects)
