important aspects of statistical analysis of spatial and spatio-temporal data using open source / free GIS tools: <br>R, SAGA GIS,GRASS GIS, FWTools, Google Earth and similar. The course participants learn how to move data <br>
back and forth between the different environments; how to produce scripts and automate analysis.<br>The summer school will include a 1 day course of GRASS GIS by Markus Neteler and Markus Metz.<br><br>The complete summer school will be broadcasted live over Ustream and this will give you the opportunity <br>
