Dear All,<div><br></div><div>With respect to the sad news that FOSS4G 2012 has been cancelled, I'd like to take this opportunity to reiterate that FOSS4G is not dead, and that there will be a global FOSS4G in 2013, in Nottingham UK. As a result of the news of the cancellation of the Beijing event we're going to move things forward more quickly than we had anticipated- we have a planning meeting tomorrow (Thursday) in which we will discuss this- and we'll keep the community posted.</div>
