<p>María, congratulations for your concern in this. I think we still have strong barriers regarding gender and language. The latter particularly affects the "Third World" (to put it in some way). And all <span style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">POC,
WIT, LGBT+, </span><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"><font color="#212121">blind, women, etc. inside it (that find it much more difficult to integrate/emancipate than in the "First World"). Language is surely an important reason why you didn't get
any response to your call. If there is any way I can help you spread your concern just let me know.</font></span><br>

<div dir="auto">One thing I miss is wider community exposure to all the activity happening world wide regions. If I was not following osgeo•jp members (in this case Yoichi Kayama) on Facebook I would not know there was a qgis hackfest going on at the moment.</div>

didn't realize how difficult it is to get to a conference on a<br>
wheelchair until I saw it with my own eyes). We are losing a lot of<br>
talent by not taking care of this.<br>
