<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div>I'm currently trying to setup some instructions to use GeoServer with the GDAL/OGR store. Linux wise, I have had no particular problems, </div><div>but I'm falling a bit short on the Windows side.</div><div><br></div><div>I've looked around, tried many solutions and installers, but it seems the only package providing prebuilt GDAL binaries with Java support </div><div>is <a href="http://download.gisinternals.com/sdk/downloads/release-1900-x64-gdal-2-4-0-mapserver-7-2-1.zip">http://download.gisinternals.com/sdk/downloads/release-1900-x64-gdal-2-4-0-mapserver-7-2-1.zip</a></div><div>The GDAL core installer (MSI) does not seem to come with Java support instead. Nor does OSGeo4w, as far I can tell.</div><div><br></div><div>So in the end I have a working solution, but not sure how much Windows users will be amenable to use a random zip instead of</div><div>an installer, and I'm trying to get the installation steps for the OGR store as smooth as possible.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, I was hoping to test out the FileGDB driver [1], which is pre-built and included in the zip above, but with little success.</div><div>I have downloaded the ESRI binary SDK (the 1.3 one, pointed by the GDAL format description page), </div><div>put the libs in the path, moved the FileDGB driver from plugins-external to plugins,</div><div>but nope, trying to use it will just segfault any app instantly (even just ogrinfo). Maybe I'm just missing some step here?</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers</div><div>Andrea</div><div><br></div><div>[1] the OpenFileGBD I'm already using and working fine for small files, but very slow for large ones due to lack of on-disk </div><div> spatial index support, that's why I also wanted to try out the FileGDB one</div><div><div><div><br></div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><span><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:14.6667px;white-space:pre-wrap">==
