[OSGeo-Edu] New Ominiverdi Live-DVD available

Hello,

Luca Casagrande, whose internet connection is intermittent, has asked me 
to announce the availability of the new Ominiverdi Live-DVD [1]. For 
more info about the project see [2].

The DVD is a Xubuntu system containing recent versions of

GRASS
QGIS
PostgreSQL+PostGIS
GDAL
R
Openoffice
etc...

It also contains the new North Carolina GRASS demo data set, next to the 
old Spearfish data set.

On the DVD, there is also a special win/ folder with the following 
windows installers:

- FWTools221.exe
- QGIS-0.11.0-1-Setup.exe
- WinGRASS-6.3.0-4-Setup.exe
- gvSIG-1_1_1-windows-i586-withjre.exe
- ms4w-2.2.8-setup.exe
