[OSGeo-Edu] Another question about LaTex and Lyx...

You'd think that I would know better than to post such a vague error
message. Please forgive me for my laziness.

I've posted screenshots of my errors which you can find at the following
two links:

The first error occurs when I try to open the letter template.

The second error occurs when I try to export PDF.

I'm using Lyx 1.5.5-5 and MikiTex 2.7 with the Microsoft Windows XP
operating system on my Dell Vostro Laptop.

I already tried using the reconfigure command under the tools menu, and
I also manually set the directory of my templates directory in the
preferences page.

Let me know if you need more information.

I appreciate all of the help.

I actually did a lot of reading about LaTex in the last couple of days.
I'm very impressed with it's overall design and all it is capable of. I
now understand why it was suggested as a solution for OSGeo educational
material in the first place. I hope I can get a handle on it, as this
would allow me to help Tyler some more with the journal.

hints to help you
At the beginning using latex seems very hard, but hang on and you will
enjoy it.
Sometimes you get an error message and no output just for a missing }.
