Not too late - thanks for the ideas Tyler.

All - we had a good BOF today -- a little smaller group than last year --
maybe 12 people present, but very motivated and energized -- including
(hopefully I have these right, and am not listing all - just ones from my
memory).

- Marco Ciolli, (Italy)
- Paolo Zatelli (Italy)
- Clara Tattoni (Italy)
- Marcus Netler (Italy)
- Victor Olaya (Spain)
- Maria Brovelli (Italy)
- Venka Raghavan (Japan)
- Vasile Crăciunescu (Romania)
- Ari Jolma (Finland)
- Myself... (USA)

There were others and I forgot to send out an attendance sheet (my bad!) My
apologies to who I am forgetting to list ... it's late. But we are meeting
again tomorrow and already we have some ideas on goals for 2008-09. FOSS4Geo
is always a re-energizer... so get ready folks - soon I will be back with
our list of todos and we will need help!

Cheers
Charlie

Probably too late for you, but thought I'd suggest discussing
education outreach opportunities. For example, how to help educators
meet with other educators to learn about our geospatial
technologies. Aside from creating comprehensive teaching material, I
believe having peers talking with each other could be beneficial for
all.
Please discuss any potential opportunities to leverage this ability -
local seminars, high level workshops, and other loosely coupled ways
of getting together and spreading the word.

Have fun!
Tyler
