Did I make an error? Did everyone see that on Doodle it was meant to be
12:00 noon TOMORROW (Friday) UTC, which, as I understand it is 8:00 am
Eastern US. Are my calculations correct? Apologies -- I'm not used to
doing this kind of international time zone coordination!

 >> On the channel idea, we could just create a temporary channel and
advertise it on #osgeo, so people wanting to attend and not knowing
where it is can find it. I don't know if #osgeo has bots for logging,
etc, because if it does, it's easier to enjoy #osgeo channel infrastructure.

I'm not very experienced with this. George, could you do this for us or
explain to me how to do this? Also, a question: To send a message to
#osgeo via Http://webchat.freenode.net -- is there a command that must
be entered? I'll be logged in in about an hour to test if anyone else
wants to join me.

Thanks all-
Charlie
