Hi everyone,

Thanks to the attendees who were able to make our first IRC meeting 
today. I had to run to a meeting at the end so sorry I didn't formally 
close out. It was an experience for me for I'm not someone who has used 
IRC much, so thanks all for being patient with a newbie as I tried to 
guide the discussion. I've logged the meeting in a txt file, but the log 
file online is at [1].

I have other things to do today, but I'll send a summary and reflections 
will follow in a day or two. If anyone who attended wants to comment to 
me offline for that reflection file, please email me.

But I think the consensus of the group was that the discussion was at 
least a little productive (it was good simply to have that interaction!) 
to do an IRC meeting like that at least once a month where we check in 
with each other. I might push for even a more frequent one to focus on a 
specific item or group goal/task. I also would like to find 
group-related tasks that people would be willing to take a 
"coordinating" or leadership role in. More soon.... I personally like 
Cameron's email earlier today (LiveDVD process) and suggested strategy, 
so I want to follow that thread more in future dialog...

In the meantime, please consider posting any new educational material 
via our submission system [2] so it is listed on our inventory page [3]. 
We've had two new entries -- thanks Ian, Micha!  Note that [3] is the 
newer, database search system... the one Micha referenced in the IRC 
chat was [4] which is the old wiki format that we aren't using anymore. 
Perhaps we should delete [4] so it doesn't get used/confused? Not sure.
