With eclipse foundation, we did eclipse democamp and eclipse day.

We open to held localize event related to opensource.

Gis is one of our technopreneur program, we call it jtechnopreneur.

I think geoff zeiss, know my work here. He one of the friend that help me in several program.

Good question Frans, at the moment we don't any good example of how to do this except our agreement with OGC.  Do you have any membership levels in your organisation?
