Hi Arnulf,

This is good idea. We will have a Edu BOF meeting on Sep 14th (which i will be joining by Skype) http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G_2011_Edu_BOF_sign_up

We will discuss plan for this and will have someone from the Education committee to give short presentation for this.

Subject: [OSGeo-Edu] Presentation for the OSGeo AGM in Denver

Hello,
it would be great if someone from the Education Committee could join the
OSGeo AGM on Friday next week in Denver and give a lightning talk about
committee activities.

The idea is to give people an impression of what OSGeo has been doing in
the past year and an outlook of what are the objectives in the next year
and years. If you make a good pitch this might attract peop0le to the
committee and obviously helps spread the word. There is no need for
elaborate slides, showing the Wiki page as a background for the 3 to 5
minute talk will be perfectly fine.

Could you please add yourself on the list at [1] and give it a more
appropriate title?

Thanks,
Arnulf.
