[OSGeo-Edu] Volume 12 of the OSGeo Journal

I'll be starting work on Volume 12 of the OSGeo Journal next week.
This will be the peer review edition that we'd like to get published
before the end of the year. I had a couple of questions for this
group:

1) Would anyone here be willing to help review our submissions for Volume 12?
2) If I provide a request for contributions next week, can you help
distribute it to interested students in your institution?
3) Do you have any thoughts on open research
(http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/may/01/open-free-access-academic-research),
and how we can support it in the OSGeo Journal? Would it be possible
to get submissions to a peer review issue of the journal not subject
to patents and copyright?
