Hi Mathieu,

Please find the attached "testing" version of GDAL 1.7.3 with imageio
extension support and maven2 depmaps (maven2 is not available for el5)

This should work perfectly fine on:

RHEL/EPEL 5
RHEL/EPLE 6
Fedora 12/13/14/15

Please test this for EL5 and let me know the result. If you face any issues

In case if the test fails on EL5, I would appreciate if you can
provide access to a RHEL 5 test machine for sometime so that I can
test and resolve all the issues in one shot.
