I don't really know EPEL that good.

But there are at least these problems:

- a higher version of libdap/libdap-devel is needed:
libdap-3.9.3-2.fc12.i686

- there is a circular dependency (and a hard to fulfill requirement)
with grass-devel (which requires gdal-devel) and isn't in EPEL - build
gdal without grass and put gdal-grass support unto another independent
package.
