More current version 0.9.2 is somewhat packaged here -- very rough around the 
edges: http://www.geofrogger.net/review/epsilon-0.9.2-1.fc15.src.rpm

I tried to build with MPI support, which is terribly complicated to me and I 
can't recall which state it was in, when I left off.

Please notice that "epsilon" is the appropriate name. I erroneously called the 
elder version "libepsilon".
