[El] Qgis 1.6.0 without PCRaster support

After staring my machine, I tried 

$ gdalinfo --version


and I'm still getting

GDAL 1.7.2, released 2010/04/23

Do I have to exclude 'proj' and 'gdal' from the EPEL repository, as you
indicated for the RpmForge ?
