[El] GDAL 1.8.0 in the next ELGIS release?

Hello,

GDAL 1.8.0 has been released:

I'm motivated to try to package it for CentOS 5.6 when it is available
(we had said we would do try to gather significant upgrades around
RHEL/CentOS releases).

I'm especially interested in the new GPSBabel driver.
This maybe the occasion to try to upgrade GPSBabel as well.
