[ELGIS] Version Conflicts with EPEL postgis

Do you use this version on purpose?
There is a more recent one in ELGIS5 (1.5.3).

If I were you, at this stage I would try a fresh install in a virtual
machine (it can be VirtualBox on your desktop), just to understand
what you really need.

In general, especially on servers, the less repositories, the better.
