Dear list readers,
some of you might know Fedora's GIS project wiki page.
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/GIS
Amongst other things, this page contains a package wishlist. Packaging has
started for many of those packages, but they did not go on review or are not
officially part of Fedora/EPEL yet, for one reason or another.
If you're interested in helping or just want something to base your private
package on in the meantime, you can clone the following Git repository:
git clone git://git.geofrogger.net/git/fedora-packaging
Note: It also contains non-GIS packages. Please read the README files. These
files don't reflect the official spec files. It's just work in progress. I just set
up the repository, so many things might still be missing, not building or
contain German comments.
Official repositories for Fedora/EPEL packages can be accessed like:
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/gitweb/?p=qgis.git
Just replace "qgis" with the name of the desired base package.
I hope somebody finds this useful.
Regards
Volker Fröhlich
