[ELGIS] installing grass on red hat

Hi list,

this is a pretty newbie's question, I'm new on red hat, I'm more
experienced with debian-like systems.
I'm trying to install grass on my brand new machine, the idea was to
install it from repository in order to retrieve all the dependencies, then
uninstall and compile it from source.
I've followed the guide here [1] for adding the elgis repo:

sudo rpm -Uvh http://elgis.argeo.org/repos/6/elgis-release-6-6_0.noarch.rpm

and it worked smooth.
Now I try to install grass with:

sudo yum install grass

but I get a lot of unsolved dependencies:

Error: Package: grass-6.4.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)
           Requires: wxGTK-gl
Error: Package: grass-6.4.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)

           Requires: libdap.so.11()(64bit)

           Requires: libfftw.so.2()(64bit)
Error: Package: gdal-1.8.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)
           Requires: libspatialite.so.2()(64bit)
Error: Package: gdal-1.8.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)
           Requires: librx.so.0()(64bit)

           Requires: libogdi.so.3()(64bit)

           Requires: libspatialite.so.2()(64bit)
Error: Package: gdal-1.8.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)
           Requires: libdapclient.so.3()(64bit)
Error: Package: grass-6.4.1-1.el6.x86_64 (elgis)
           Requires: libXm.so.2()(64bit)

I've just tried for example:

sudo yum install wxGTK-gl

Loaded plugins: product-id, refresh-packagekit, rhnplugin, security,
subscription-manager
Updating certificate-based repositories.
rhel-6-server-cf-tools-1-rpms
| 2.6 kB     00:00
rhel-6-server-rpms
| 3.7 kB     00:00
Setting up Install Process
No package wxGTK-gl available.
Error: Nothing to do

So my questions are:

1) How should I look for the content of a package in red-hat distribution
in order to install the correct one?
2) am I allowed to install these packages or they depend from the
agreements of my institution with red-hat (i.e. do i need the sys admin's
help to do that?)
3) Why some dependencies don't come with the grass package?

Sorry i know that these may sound like very stupid questions but I'm
puzzled with that.. Thank you in advance for any help!

regards,
madi
