[ELGIS] GDAL with libtiff4

Dear EL GIS devs/users,

I ran into some issues using GDAL (package from elgis-testing) which I 
think are related to a libtiff version 3. So I installed libtiff4 from 
elgis-testing but it seems that GDAL is still using the older version 
(both libs are now installed at the same time as libtiff and libtiff4).

How could I convince GDAL to use the libtiff4 library instead?
