[ELGIS] GDAL on CentOS 6

Hello,

I saw an email dated July 31 on this list where Edward Powell was inquiring
about issues installing gdal on EL6 because of the recently updated
armadillo version in EPEL. I'm running into the same problem, but did not
see any reply on the list. Has anyone solved this problem or rebuilt the
packages? Are there any plans to?
