[Europe] INSPIRE Conference 2018

Dear list,

Should OSGeo be represented with a booth on the next INSPIRE conference?
If we get support from the organisations providing support and services
at the OSGeo projects we will and we can.
Objective is to have the biggest booth in the room!
Let me know before 11 April 2018 if you are interested to represent your
company/OSGeo service on the OSGeo booth.

*Context*
Last year several OSGeo projects where represented on the INSPIRE
conference via several booths. We had the opportunity to talk to the
OSGeo members representing these projects and offering commercial services.

This year, we founded OSGeo Europe and amongst the objectives of this
local chapter are: [1]

* Support European open standards and European directives such as INSPIRE
* To encourage different communities to work together where relevant
* Organisation of events

If some projects are interested to work together and represent their
company/project/OSGeo Service via a common OSGeo booth, I am willing to
take an initiative to organise this.
During this first step I want to inquiry if parties are interested to
join this initiative. Once I know the number of interested parties I
will work out a proposition with a binding offer.


To be able to move forward in time (because the INSPIRE conference will
take place in September in Antwerp Belgium [2] I ask interested parties
to contact me before *April 11* by replying on this list or in private
so we can take a timely decision. I will take all interested parties in
the loop for further practical organisation.

Together we can make OSGeo and the OSGeo eco system strong!
