[Europe] INSPIRE Conference 2018

My2c:

I support the idea to have on a common booth an OSGeo booth, where OSGeo
can be represented, together with all the initiatives who want to
support the OSGeo-eco system.

We have some rules how to behave in the OSGeo community, and I think
organisations supporting us should follow these guidelines. Charter
members are asked to follow these guidelines. We could introduce the
rule that a chapter member should be the contact point between the
'sponsoring organisation' and OSGeo.

I agree we should discuss this further, but to get things moving I will
work on a proposal for the organisations (and charter members) who
already contacted me.

I think OSGeo-Europe should take the initiative to bring "OSGeo open
source service providers" together to have a common initiative. We can
evaluate what works and what doesn't, as Tilll indicates about the
initiative on InterGeo. But it is really important to present OSGeo not
only on FOSS4G conferences if we want to address the 'outside world'.
As an inclusive organisation we should do so.

Best Regards,

Dirk
