"me | places | spaces" - this is the theme of the AGIT 2018. The annual geospatial gathering at the University Salzburg will be from 4th to 6th of July 2018:

The international Geoinformatics Community will meet for three days with full of information and exchange of ideas. Valuable impulse for your individual work is guaranteed. 
The broad variety of topics includes Autonomous Driving as well as Civil Protection and Crisis Management. Please note that the conference language is German.
At the same time the Geoinformatics Forum Salzburg (GI_Forum) will take place, which is held in English.

FOSSGIS, OSGeo, and OpenStreetMap

The growing importance of free and open source software is pushed forward by many contributions of the FOSSGIS e.V., OSGeo, and OpenStreetMap. You will find an OSGeo booth with information material, OSGeo-Live DVDs and OSGeo representatives in the AGIT EXPO area:

OSGeo Day at 4th of July

The OSGeo Day in colaboration with FOSSGIS e.V. and the OSGeo Foundation with will take place on July 4th. The sessions will offer presentations about QGIS, OpenStreetMap, MapBender, Sentinel-1 Data, PostGIS and many more.

All participating projects are listed in the exhibitor directory. Visitors can expect to get the best information about FOSSGIS, OSM and their projects directly from developers and the user community at the OSGeo-Park.
