[Europe] Urgent: Status of [OSGeo Europe] (Till Adams)

Till, all,
apologies for not responding earlier. While I strongly believe that OSGeo should have an active dialogue with the European Commission, I'm unable to put ressources into this effort. FOSS4G could be a good opportunity to jump start this group and get enthusiastic new people on board (BOF or similar ?).
