FDO on Core 5?

Hi there,

I'm trying to install the latest FDO that I can download from the site (3.0.0) onto my Fedora Core 5 server.  During compilation, I get "extra qualification" errors, mostly from IRasterPropertyDictionary.h

Am I crazy for even trying to compile on FC5?  Is the gcc lib too new? (4.1.0) My ultimate goal is to get MapGuide up and running but I may have to go back to a more "tested" version of the OS, or?
