[fdo-internals] GDAL UnitTests on Linux

Folks,

Per http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/ticket/12 I have incorporated a bunch of fixes
into the FDO GDAL Provider unittests so they all pass on Linux in the FDO
trunk.  It turns out none of the failures were actually due to bugs in the
provider.

If anyone has a "trunk" build that includes the GDAL provider, I'd appreciate
it if they could quickly run the GDAL unit tests and append a note to the
ticket indicating if they are all working or not there.
