Is there a schedule / eta for a release of FDO as a standalone compiled
SDK for Windows?  With examples? :)

Right now I think I can pull 3.2 out of the MapGuide 1.1 release or
compile FDO from scratch, but this is pretty extreme overhead for
somebody that just wants to start using FDO.

If we can get a turnkey/quick start package put together, I think that
we'll see faster adoption of FDO in other applications.

This is a semi-personal itch; the developer that sits next to me needs
to start using FDO in a managed environment (C#), and it's turning out
to be a bit of a struggle.  Mostly because I'm not really a developer,
and he's used to being able to download an SDK and start using it.
Pointers here would be appreciated.
