Greg,

There is some sort of server side subversion command that can be used to
accomplish this.  If you file a SAC ticket indicating the subversion
subtrees that can be safely removed from the history.  Presumably this
would be:

   http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/browser/trunk/www/docs

right?

Howard, or possibly I could do this, though it isn't terribly pressing.
It just makes fdo repository management and backup easier in the future.
