NOTE: Since I am working on the PostGIS provider build process, I may
just go ahead and prepare the initial makefile.am files. If this is
overlapping with any other efforts, speak up now....

Jason, Greg,
I appologize for long delay, I came back home 10 days ago
but after 3 weeks of absence I jumped directly to projects being in
delay, so I'm cleaning my inbox slower than I'd wish.

Yes, me too.
In Victoria, I talked to Larry White who is FDO/MapGuide user and he is
strongly interested in working on makefiles for PostGIS provider.
Also, I promised Haris that I will prepare makefiles for the King
Oracle, unfortunately I'm not seeing any gap in my schedule in October.
I have this tasks in mind and will do my best to work on makefiles at
the beginning of November.
Cheers
