[fdo-internals] Updating SDF Feature Schema

Hi, 
Is it possible to change SDF schema once it has been populated with
features? e.g in the following:

<xs:element name="Geometry" type="gml:AbstractGeometryType"
fdo:hasMeasure="false" fdo:hasElevation="false" fdo:srsName="LL84"
fdo:geometricTypes="point curve surface " fdo:geometryTypes="point
multipoint linestring multilinestring curvestring multicurvestring polygon
multipolygon curvepolygon multicurvepolygon ">

is it possible to change the schema to a Geometry type of
fdo:geometricTypes="curve "  only?
