[fdo-internals] Sandbox in the SVN?

Hi all,

Wondering how people would feel about setting up a "sandbox" area in the
FDO SVN so that things like Haris' recent KML provider
(http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/mapguide-users/2008-July/013613.html)
have a place to live out in the open before they are brought into the
trunk (through RFC, or whatever).

The other option is to have all of these projects either stay closed
source until the author is happy with them or litter Google Code. :(
